Holi is one of the most popular and celebrated festivals. This auspicious occasion, where we love to have a great time with our family and friends, can become a worst nightmare for tourists who come to visit Varanasi. The city is known for its cultural heritage but lacks basic sense among its people.
A recent video went viral, which shows a couple walking on the ghat, and suddenly a huge crowd of people surrounded them. One of them started throwing water on the lady, dousing her. She went furious, and this enraged her husband, who showed his anger by shouting at them. But there were more; many people were playing Holi, so he couldn’t say much, and moreover, they started mocking the couple.
This was such a bad gesture towards anyone and felt very annoying. Even though nobody came to help the couple, we just heard someone saying, “let them go, let them go.” How can this be tolerated?
