Sikh Man Under Investigation For Protecting His Shop

The sense of equality will always be the most crucial aspect of any judiciary system. But it’s about time when American laws ask the question of how much equality is too equal.

A video went viral: an Indian man catches and beats up a burglar with a cane, with the help of his security. Now, the internet loves it as “Not all superheroes wear capes; some wear turbans,” becoming a popular catchphrase.

Amidst the popularity of the event, the law doesn’t align with the people’s choice. Even if the man was protecting his property and the security of everyone in that shop, there is a charge against him.

Now, several media outlets are reporting that the Sikh man who reportedly stopped a burglar in a 7/11 shop is under investigation for assault. Though the store employees are saying that this man stole from their store two other times along with issuing a threat.

But their statements were not enough to press charges of assault against the man. Now violence is never the answer, but when it comes to constant threats and numerous burglaries, a beatdown with a stick should make an exception.
