These days the stars of Akshay Kumar seem not very promising. On one hand, his professional life is going through a sloppy journey as none of his movies seem to work, while on the other hand, his image as a superstar has deteriorated. At least the recent incident in Lucknow says so.
He is an actor who was at the top of his career before the lockdown, delivering 3 to 4 hits every year. Akshay Kumar was regarded as the most consistent actor in those days. While SRK and other stars were struggling with their movies, Akshay seemed to have cracked the code. But after the lockdown, it has been a shipwreck for him. In the last 2 years, the actor has given a number of flops. Barring OMG 2′, movies like ‘Selfie’, ‘Samrat Pruthviraj’ ‘Ramsetu’ and many more have been nothing more than a flop. Amidst that, when he visited Lucknow with Tiger Shroff for promoting his upcoming movie “Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan,” he was welcomed in a very ‘not so friendly’ manner.
The amount of hate he is receiving is disturbing. A recent video that went viral shows that a lot of people are shouting, “Akshay Kumar Murdabad…” Even people started to throw slippers at him while the actors were doing aerial stunts to please the audience. Fortunately, the actor was taken out safely from the crowd, and soon everything was under control.
