The online delivery service came as a boon to us. We might complain that they charge extra for door-to-door delivery, but many times they prove to be a great help for us.
Food delivery services like Zomato and Swiggy are famous for their quirky notifications that tempt us to order food. They keep giving us offers and coupons, making us stay tuned with them. But recently, a Swiggy delivery agent did something that really made us appreciate his job and nature.
A tweet went viral recently, telling the story of a lady in Ranchi who got sharp cramps and couldn’t walk properly. There was nobody to help her. The least she could do was go to a medical store to get some medicine for pain relief. But when that seemed difficult for her too, she ordered food on Swiggy and asked the delivery agent if he could bring some medicine from a nearby store.
Surprisingly, within a few minutes, the delivery guy came up with his food and the medicine she asked for. The lady thanked him and shared the incident on Twitter, which has gone viral by now. People are appreciating his generosity and kindness.
Apart from this story, this also shows that Ranchi also needs to have a medical delivery service too, which can help people in distress. Do let us know your thoughts.
I had sharp cramps and couldn’t walk to the medical store, so ordered food on @Swiggy and asked the delivery agent if he could buy me a medicine. He was really kind enough to get me one. I made sure to tip him and thank him for his kindness ✨ pic.twitter.com/SEKegLiwaQ
