A sex racket bust in Varanasi has triggered political attention after links surfaced to a flat owned by a politician’s family. Police raided a flat and a spa and found nine women and four men inside. Phones, a register, and other items were seized from the spot.
Police said the flat operated as an illegal setup under the cover of a spa. The property belongs to the family of a politician and had been rented out. The tenants ran the operation. Officers sealed both locations and started tracing others linked to the racket.
The issue gained traction only because the property connects to a political family. No individual from the family holds any political post at present. Over the years, the family has had links with Congress, the Samajwadi Party, and the BJP through past associations.
Targeting any single party is unfair at this stage. The police action focuses on the tenants, not the owners. Until the probe ends, speculation only adds noise. Verified facts deserve priority over political guessing.
