Video: Desperate Girl Hunts for Husband on Roads

Mumbai-based social media influencer Sayali Sawant recently created a humorous buzz on the internet as she went around the city holding a placard with her biodata, with the ultimate aim of finding a groom!

In the video posted on her Instagram handle, Sayali can be seen holding the placard at iconic locations like the Taj Hotel, Marine Drive, and the Gateway of India.

Onlookers smile at her as she shows them the placard, with some of them joining in the fun with statements like ‘Mulga Ready Ahe Amcha’ (“Our boy is ready”).

The video was titled ‘Lagnacha Biodata’, and has amassed over 823,000 views and 130 comments due to its unconventionally humorous approach to a modern-day problem faced by many.

Social media has been buzzing with comments ever since Sayali posted the video. One user wrote, “This takes guts, and I respect her for it. Modern problems need modern solutions.”

Another user took a more humorous approach to it as he jokingly commented, “Is this the new Shaadi.com?”

Sayali’s act, although satirical, points out the modern-day dating struggles, where people often contract the fear of missing out during the wedding season.

Her initiative highlights the lengths many people are ready to go to find a life partner in this fast-paced digital world, along with showcasing a unique blend of tradition and modernity.
