A tragic incident in Visakhapatnam has left a family shattered. A six-year-old boy, identified as Pranay Tej, died after collapsing inside his classroom at Little Garden School in the One Town area on Thursday.

The footage reportedly shows the teacher physically handling the boy and allegedly slapping him. The child can be seen crying and appearing frightened and distressed. Soon after, he collapses against the teacher.

The boy was immediately taken to the hospital. He was later taken to King George Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

The exact cause of his death is not yet officially known. Some early reports suggested that he may have suffered a heart attack or collapsed due to extreme fear and shock. A post-mortem examination is expected to establish the exact cause of death.

The incident became even more painful for the family after they reportedly saw the CCTV footage. Relatives gathered outside the school and hospital and protested, demanding action against the teacher and the school management.

Police have started an investigation. They are examining the CCTV footage and other circumstances surrounding the boy’s death. They are also looking into whether the child had any underlying health condition.

But the heartbreaking question remains: How did a simple homework issue turn into a six-year-old child’s death? If the allegations shown in the CCTV footage are proved, this is not discipline. It is a serious failure to protect a child.

A six-year-old boy went to school and never returned home. For his family, no explanation can ever bring him back.
