A disgraceful and alarming news is coming from Jharkhand regarding a Brazilian woman who was subjected to a crime of the worst grade.
The woman and her partner shared the horrific act they were subjected to on their Instagram. The woman was attacked, looted and raped by several men while camping at a deserted spot in Dumka, Jharkhand. The couple were traveling from Dumka to Bhagalpur. They stopped to rest in their tents when 7-8 men from nearby areas entered and attacked them.
Police have detained three men and have been looking for the unknown attackers too.
This act brings the harsh truth to the light that women are still not safe in some parts of our country. We pride ourselves with ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ yet tourists facing heinous crimes like these is a reality.
India has been doing better than ever in terms of foreign tourism but if things like this keep happening, it will destroy all that growth.
This Brazilian couple were on a motorcycle trip to India, faced a disturbing incident with the woman alleging she was raped by 7 men in Jharkhand.
