Somewhere in the centre of Delhi, with much less of a speeding car chasing down a kachori shop, and much more of a high-speed chase of a different kind. And uniquely in balance, the city, a ticking clock booming with life and chaos, was brought to an unusual standstill by a lawyer behind the wheel of a top-notch car, who lost control and crashed into the snack stand.
The one which can turn the morning into a display of spectacle was actually recorded on Rajpur road and might be a scene straight off an action movie.
The SUV which turned into the origin for its extreme speeding spectacularly crashed into the refined and sweet kachori station, commonly known for its savory and oily bites. Such an impact existed and it didn’t only send naan like someone playing with a frisbee but it shocked the customers and those who just happen to be nearby.
Contrary to popular belief, the event gave rises to injuries and to the driver’s arrest. However, it also provided the setting for a citywide workshop on road safety and the unforeseeability of Delhi’s streets.
However, in the midst of all the malaise, the indomitable spirit of the city resounded so loud, as the shop owner set her course to reopen and still make everyone’s favorite snack but with a new recipe Mercedes Masala Kachori.
