A social media influencer named Aimee shared a disturbing experience from her midnight Uber auto ride. The driver refused to drop her at the destination listed in the app and reportedly tried to hit her during an argument.
Aimee also noticed that the auto’s number didn’t match the one displayed in her booking. Feeling unsafe, she posted her story online, urging Uber to take strict action against the driver.
She said she had chosen Uber for safety, but the incident shattered her trust. Many users have joined her call for better driver checks and stronger passenger safety measures, especially during night rides.
