The IPL season 2025 stands suspended indefinitely by the BCCI and the governing body. This decision has been made public by the official body a short while back.
This decision has been taken in view of the prevailing security conditions between India and Pakistan. The warring situation that is being exhibited between the two countries has meant that a mega event like IPL would be not a wise decision on the security side.

The game between Delhi and Punjab last night was called off for security reasons. This potentially rubbed off into the remainder of the tournament as well, considering the latest decision that has been taken by the BCCI.
