CSK Fans finally had something to remember as their team ended its season with a solid and decisive victory against GT in Ahmedabad.
With a golden ending completed for CSK, their batting lineup for the next season also seems to have been sorted out.
It all began with the match against KKR, where CSK received a cracking defeat at the hands of the Riders, making just 103 runs while losing 9 wickets, something that the Knight Riders were able to chase without breaking a sweat.
This match led to CSK getting shaken back to reality, after which they got Ayush Mhatre, Dewald Brevis, and Urvil Patel in the team, thus rectifying most of their problems.
It has also been confirmed that Suresh Raina, the ‘Chinna Thala’, would be returning to the franchise as their batting coach.
Many are comparing this with CSK’s 2020 season, which also went unimaginably bad but led to them finding their next captain in the form of Ruturaj Gaikwad.
With CSK ready to go guns blazing, it will be interesting to see if Captain Cool comes back to set the platform one last time in 2026.
