Harsh Truth: Team India Just Doberman Without Tail?

It is not a hidden fact that the Indian Team has miserably failed to secure a much-needed win against England during the first test match.

Apart from the problems with the Indian bowling lineup, one other crucial flaw was exposed wide open during the match, and that is the incapacitative nature of the Indian tail.

While the tailenders of teams like Australia and England have proven themselves time and again, turning the outcome of the match right from the hands of defeat, the Indian tail has disappointed time and again.

Social media has been going wild recently on an alleged statement by former Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik, where Karthik allegedly compared the Indian batting lineup to a Doberman, with the top-order representing the head, the middle-order being decent at best, and a non-existent tail.

While the comment hasn’t been proven to be his, it still holds merit as the Indian tail crumbles time and again to opposition bowlers.

It will be interesting to see if GG and Co. can fix this major flaw in the team to ensure an enduring tail in the future.
