GG seems to have gotten it all when it comes to picking ‘the best players’ for the Indian team. His preference for all-rounders even in red-ball cricket has proven disastrous for India many times.
While including Washington Sundar into the team has already been a controversial decision, what’s even more disastrous is that GG and Gill are not using the bowling capabilities of Washington.
As of right now, Washington has just started to bowl when he should have yesterday, even though the rest of the bowling attack is failing miserably.
The captain and the all-knowing coach’s so-called master plan is once again showing its effect, leading to the public calling them out for such masterstrokes that seem to fail everytime.
With India losing the game as we speak, it will be interesting to see how Gill and Company can turn things around from this point in time.
