With the IPL now officially over, all eyes have turned to the ongoing India A vs England Lions unofficial test series. With the India A team performing brilliantly in the first game, although it was a draw, it’s only natural that some English emotions would have been ruffled sooner or later.
One such incident has surfaced where the commentators can be hurled making inappropriate racial comments towards the Indian players.
One of them asks to confirm if, indeed, the players from India are a bit short, to which the other one shamelessly replies, “Yeah, they are a short species.”
This so perfectly fits into the concept of racial supremacy, which surfaces sooner or later in some ‘privileged’ folks who think the melanin content of their skin determines their being above everyone else.
Well, we don’t need to do anything else as it seems our India A boys are more than capable enough to handle the good old subtle racism thrown our way, as we have been doing for over 200 years now!
