The most important leg of India’s run in the ongoing T20 World Cup is coming to an end tomorrow with the final game of the tournament scheduled to be played at 8 PM on the 29th of June.
A lot is riding on this finale with India’s long-standing wait for an ICC trophy. The last time India won an ICC trophy was back in 2011 when the team won the World Cup in India.
There was a big chance in 2023 when India reached the finals but only to lose the game to Australia.
And now, finally, India is back in the finale of the T20 World Cup and luckily, the side is led by a top-firing Rohit Sharma who is not just in impeccable form but also leading the side from the front.
A win here would put an end to India’s 13-year-long wait for an ICC trophy and this is pretty much the need of the hour for the side now.
In around 24 hours from now, India might either return as heroes by winning the T20 World Cup or go back as zeroes again, leaving fans and supporters in disarray again.
The finale will be played at Barbados and the game will commence at 8 in the night. India will be taking on a spirited South Africa in the tournament finale.
