Several inside sources have revealed that while being the captain of the team, Virat saw the leadership spark in Shreyas and groomed him for a future leading role in the team.
While this has benefitted the Indian team, it has now also left Shreyas, the protegee, standing face to face against his teacher Kohli in the IPL finals, with every weapon that he got from his master.
RCB fans are worried that Virat’s very own grooming may cause big trouble for RCB in the finals, where they might be decimated by PBKS if cards fall in place for Iyer.
