On the other hand, we have another champion side in the form of Mumbai Indians, which is picking up the momentum at the right point in time. Mumbai have won 5 consecutive games this season and these are ominous signs for other teams in the league.

Considering the rich legacy of Mumbai and their tendency to perform in crucial games, it is going to be super tough to beat them for the remainder of the tournament.

It could perhaps be argued that Bengaluru and Mumbai are the two favourites to clash in the season finale this year, but this will of course depend on the way in which the upcoming games progress.
We have other aspiring teams like Gujarat, Delhi, and Punjab, which are looking equally challenging this year. But it all comes down to match awareness and the capability to perform in big games, which will be the deciding factors here.
