As cricket fans gear up for one of the most exciting IPL finals ever—Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) vs Kings XI Punjab (KXIP)—Hyderabad is at the center of the buzz.
With PVR INOX screening the final live in theatres on June 3, the city has seen sold-out shows across multiple cinemas.
This is part of PVR INOX’s Alternative Content initiative, which aims to make theatres more than just places for movies.
With HD visuals, Dolby surround sound, recliner seats, and fan zones, the IPL final experience is being brought to life on the big screen like never before.
Top theatres like PVR Nexus Mall (Kukatpally), INOX GSM Mall, PVR Panjagutta, INOX Necklace Mall, and PVR Gachibowli are hosting screenings at 7:25 PM and 7:30 PM.
Tickets have sold out in all locations, with fans eager to witness what could be Virat Kohli’s long-awaited title or Punjab’s first-ever trophy win.
Interestingly, while cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Pune, and Ahmedabad are also showing strong bookings, Chennai has not listed a single screening—an unusual move given its passionate cricket fanbase.
Perhaps, since CSK delivered a very poor performance this year, the city hasn’t shown much interest in the RCB vs PBKS finale.
Regardless of who lifts the trophy, Hyderabad is already winning with its unmatched enthusiasm. For fans here, it’s not just about the match—it’s about watching history unfold in full cinematic style.
