Hardik and Krunal Pandya are known for their fierce presence on the cricket field, where every inch counts. But off the field, a different side of them comes to light a side rooted in loyalty, humility, and deep gratitude.

Their relationship with childhood coach Jitendra Singh reveals the emotional strength behind their success. The Pandya brothers have supported him not only emotionally but also financially offering nearly ₹70-80 lakhs over the years.

From arranging weddings to hospital care, they’ve stepped in without hesitation.

Unwavering Support Through Life’s Ups and Downs

In 2018, they helped fund Jitendra’s first sister’s wedding. For the second sister’s marriage in 2024, they gave ₹20 lakhs and even gifted a car. Hardik told his coach, “Your sister is my sister. Just let me know whenever the wedding gets fixed.”

When Jitendra’s mother fell seriously ill, Hardik ensured there were no financial roadblocks. It wasn’t a favour it was a gesture of deep trust and respect.

A Car, A Gift, A Statement

After making his India debut in Australia, Hardik gifted his coach a car worth ₹5-6 lakhs. He insisted it was for safety, a simple but powerful gesture that reflected his gratitude.

Krunal has been equally generous. After RCB’s IPL 2025 win, he reportedly transferred ₹18 lakhs to Jitendra. Their support wasn’t limited to big moments it was consistent and personal.

Giving Without the Show

Hardik and Krunal have also ensured that Jitendra received Nike merchandise, clothing, and other personal gifts things he couldn’t afford on his own.

They never sought attention for these acts. Yet, in a 2017 Teacher’s Day Facebook post, Hardik simply wrote: “The one who deserves the most is Jitu Singh sir. I got your back always.”

And true to his word, he has stood by it.

Beyond the Game: A Lesson in Character

While we often celebrate athletes for their achievements on the field, stories like these remind us where real greatness lies. It’s in how you treat those who helped you get there.

The Pandya brothers’ actions are not publicity stunts. The consistency over the years reflects authenticity and values deeply rooted in their upbringing.

Teacher’s Day is More Than Words

This story is a reminder that Teacher’s Day isn’t just about sharing messages or bouquets. It’s about recognising the people who stood by you during the toughest times.

Hardik and Krunal didn’t just say thanks. They showed it time and again.
