Mohammed Siraj has always been the one to stand there for his team and his nation whenever his duties were needed in any form of cricket.
While he does have his ups and downs at times, there is no doubt about his commitment and resolve towards representing his nation by making sure that each delivery he bowls turns out to be the best one that he can bowl.
In a recent press conference, Siraj gave a cheeky reply when he was asked about his views on workload management.
Replying to the same, the Indian pacer said, “This workload is what science ke log (science people) write in books. My goal is simple – I want to play as many matches for my country as I can”.
Many have viewed this as a personal attack on Jasprit Bumrah, who seems to be taking one too many rests these days in the name of ‘workload management’.
With the 4th test match set to begin on 23rd July, it will be interesting to see if Siraj and Bumrah can keep their game up to crush the English bowling lineup and help the Indian team at the only chance it has to bring home the trophy.
