The much anticipated high-profile clash between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings happened at the famous Stadium in Chennai last night. This is regarded as the biggest clash amongst all teams in IPL considering that both Chennai and Mumbai had won the trophy 5 times each.
However, this match turned out to be a boring affair with Chennai comfortably winning against Mumbai in what turned out to be dull and uninteresting match.

However, there is this one viral video on social media that is grabbing the attention all over. This video is being carried in the sense that there was an clear case of ball tampering in the game between Chennai and Mumbai last night
In the video, Chennai bowler Khaleel Ahmed holding the ball in one hand while he picks out some object from his pocket with the other hand. Then he turns his back to the camera while what is done to the ball isn’t seen. Then he hands out the object to captain Ruturaj who is right next to him.

After watching the context in this video, people are commenting that this is a clear case of ball tampering as Khaleel could have easily modified the condition of the ball by using either a sticky or rough substance. They are saying that this is a punishable offence, and the IPL governing body must look into the video.
On the other hand, there is the possibility that Khaleel could have been carrying a team message that was written on paper, which is a norm these days. It could have simply been a plain piece of paper with the team instruction written on it.

Until and unless there is substantial evidence to prove that ball tempering had indeed happened, there is not much to inconclusive videos.
