
The Bombay High Court has directed the family court overseeing the divorce case of cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife Dhanashree Verma by tomorrow, considering his upcoming participation in the IPL.
The court’s request came after the family court denied the waiver of the 6 month cooling period on the grounds of partial fulfilment of alimony.

The ex-couple then appealed to the High Court, clarifying that the alimony of Rs.4.75 Crores was to be paid in two instalments, the last one being processed after the finalization of the divorce.
Yuzi Chahal, who is playing from the side of Punjab Kings, will have to prove his form after the high-profile divorce.

With many of his fans eager to see his spin magic in action, it will be interesting to see whether Chahal can overcome personal hurdles to carry forward his golden form from last season and potentially pave his way back into the Indian team in the near future.
