Vikram’s long-pending project, Dhruva Natchathiram, directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, has finally got its release date, as confirmed by the film’s music director, Harris Jayaraj, in a recent interview.
As per the buzz, Dhruva Natchathiram is finally going to be released on May 1st. Even though it is a strong buzz, many netizens on social media commented that they couldn’t trust it until they saw it in theatres, as the team had announced multiple release dates before, but the movie was never released.
However, the buzz is now almost confirmed after the film’s music composer, Harris Jayaraj, in a recent press interaction, stated that Dhruva Natchathiram is set to release soon, within a month.
Suriya’s highly anticipated Retro, directed by Karthik Subbaraj, has officially announced its release date as May 1st. If the buzz around Dhruva Natchathiram turns out to be true, it will most likely lead to an exciting clash between Retro and Dhruva Natchathiram on May 1st.
Still, there haven’t been any official updates on this. Let us wait a few more days for official confirmation and see whether Vikram’s Dhruva Natchathiram, which was completed in 2018, will finally be released on May 1st.
However, until the movie releases, nothing is sure about Dhruva Natchathiram.
Adding to the competition, Nani’s HIT 3 is also set to release on May 1st as a pan-India film. Both Retro and Dhruva Natchathiram might face challenges at the box office due to HIT 3. In the Telugu market, in particular, Suriya and Vikram’s films could struggle significantly due to Nani’s box office pull and the HIT franchise’s appeal.
