
July month is going to end with Dhanush’s Raayan, which is releasing on July 26th. Only Indian 2 and Raayan are the notable releases of this month. Whereas August is loaded with the most versatile movies of Kollywood this year.
August 2nd Loaded with three notable releases, which include Yogi Babu’s Boat, directed by Imsai Arasan 23rd Pulikecei and Irumbukkottai Murattu Singam, famed Chimbu Devan, Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan, starring Vijay Antony in the lead, and Jama, a rooted film from the makers of Koozhangal. Recently, a director’s premiere happened for this movie and acquired lots of positive responses.
On the other hand, August 15th was loaded with 4 movies, such as the most anticipated Thangalaan movie starring Vikram and directed by Pa Ranjith, which is a historical action; Demonte Colony-2 starring Arulnidhi in the lead; Raghu Thatha starring Keerthy Suresh in the lead; and Andhagam starring Prashanth, which is an official remake of the Andhadhun movie.
Whereas August 23rd was already occupied by two interesting Tamil movies, such as Kottukkali, starring Soori in the lead and directed by Koozhangal famed PS Vinothraj; this film was screened at the 74th Berlin Film Festival; and Vaazhai, directed by critically acclaimed Mari Selvaraj. As of now, these movies were confirmed; other than this, there were speculations that Kavin’s Bloody Beggar and Hip Hop Tamizha’s Kadaisi Ulaga Por may also join the August race. Kollywood looks very strong in August, as different genres of movies were releasing in this month, and it’s going to be a treat for Tamil cinema audiences.
