Is Vijay Sethupathi vs. Manikandan’s Face-off in a Web Series?

Vijay Sethupathi’s last release, Maharaja, was a blockbuster success, and on the other hand, Manikandan’s Lover, which was released a few months ago, was a theatrical hit. Now there were speculations that they were going to join hands for a new Web series.

Vijay Sethupathi and Manikandan have a good bond between them; they also appeared together in movies like Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum and Vikram Vedha. Both of these movies were blockbusters in which Vijay Sethupathi was the lead and Manikandan played a supporting role in these movies.

Now, there is a strong buzz that Vijay Sethupathi and Manikandan are all set to do a web series tentatively titled Muthu Engira Kattaan. It is said to be an out-and-out action web series set in a village backdrop. Still, there isn’t any news about who’s going to direct it. Vijay Sethupathi is currently acting in Vetri Maaran’s Viduthalai Part 2; once he completes the shooting of this movie, the shooting of the web series will start.

This is going to be an exciting one for the Tamil cinema audiences if it happens as two powerhouse performers, Vijay Sethupathi and Manikandan, are coming together in a web series. Still, nothing has been finalized; let’s wait for the official update from the team.
