Recently, during an interview, Lokesh Kanagaraj revealed his upcoming projects, which have now gone viral on social media.
Lokesh Kanagaraj stated that his immediate next project after Coolie will be Kaithi 2. Following Kaithi 2, he will most probably start Vikram 2, although the story for Vikram 2 is yet to be completed.
Once these commitments are over and Suriya also completes his prior commitments, the standalone film for the Rolex character will commence.
Also, he mentioned that he initially planned Leo 2 as the final film of his cinematic universe. However, due to Vijay’s announced retirement from his acting career after Jana Nayagan, that may not happen.
Following this news, some netizens on social media commented that Vijay should not retire after Jana Nayagan and requested him to plan Leo 2 as his final film, as it would be a memorable farewell for him and a treat for Vijay fans to celebrate one last time in theaters.
Some social media users are also suggesting that Lokesh Kanagaraj should not drop the idea of Leo 2, and if Vijay returns to acting by any chance, Lokesh Kanagaraj should direct Leo 2 with him.
However, it remains to be seen how Kaithi 2 and Vikram 2 will shape up in the future and whether Lokesh Kanagaraj achieves the grand endgame for his cinematic universe with Leo 2.
