Earlier, Arun Matheswaran was committed to directing Ilayaraja’s biopic with Dhanush. However, due to the delay in shooting, the buzz suggests that Arun Matheswaran is planning to complete a quick project with Lokesh Kanagaraj in the lead.
Following this buzz, netizens on social media have stated that Lokesh Kanagaraj should concentrate only on directing, as he is now one of the biggest directors in Kollywood. They feel that if he enters full-time acting, Tamil cinema will miss a quality director, much like how it is currently missing Atlee’s directorial work.
