Mani Ratnam’s most expected movie, Thug Life, is on the shooting stage. Thug Life is expected to be released either by this year or in the early 2025. The shooting and dubbing of this movie in Jet Speed Insider Buzz reports that Mani Ratnam is cooking a Mirzapur-style movie.
Thug Life has powerful performers, which include Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan TR, and many others. The music for this was composed by AR Rahman and produced by three production houses, such as Kamal Haasan’s RKFI, Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies, and Red Giant Movies.

A promo video of this movie starring Kamal Haasan was released several months ago and created lots of expectations about this movie. But later, sometimes this movie’s shooting was shelved due to Kamal Haasan’s political campaigns. Due to this, Jayam Ravi and Dulquer Salman were walked out of this movie. Then their roles were replaced by Silambarasan TR and Ashok Selvan. A few shooting spot images were released a few weeks ago, and also a character reveal video of Silambarasan TR was released and created sky-high expectations among the audiences. Yesterday, RKFI Production House released a photo of Silambarasan TR doing dubbing work. This indicates that the shooting of the film is going to end, and parallely, the dubbing works have also started.
After this, the audiences and trackers reported that Thug Life was going to be released earlier than we expected. Let’s see what Mani Ratnam is cooking for us in Thug Life.
