Thaman’s Record Confidence Gets a Fiery Kaaka Reply

Updated 09:30 Oct 10, 2026

Thaman is setting the expectations high for Kaaka. The composer shared an “All Time Records” post alongside Megastar Chiranjeevi, expressing strong confidence in the film’s box-office prospects. The post has grabbed attention, with Thaman making it clear that he believes the Chiranjeevi starrer has the potential to create a major impact.

The makers have responded with similar confidence. The film’s official X handle posted “Thagalapettedham,” signalling that the team is equally bullish about its prospects. Rather than keeping their expectations modest, both Thaman and the makers are openly talking big ahead of the film’s Sankranthi release.

Such confidence naturally raises expectations around Kaaka. Releasing during the competitive Sankranthi season, the film will need strong content and audience support to turn this pre-release talk into box-office records. For now, the team has made its ambitions clear, and the real test will begin when the film arrives in theatres on January 13, 2027.
