Following the back to back failures of Toxic and Hi, actress Nayanthara is all set to return with the film Mookuthi Amman 2 directed by Sundar C, which is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on November 6th as a Diwali special.
After Mookuthi Amman 2, Nayanthara also has multiple biggies in her line-up. Even though there haven’t been any official updates on her addition to Rajinikanth’s anticipated Dharman, directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, sources suggest that she is playing a very crucial role in the film and an official announcement regarding this is expected soon.
According to reports, a few months ago, Nayanthara was struggling in her career and because of continuous failures, many directors avoided bringing her on board for their films.
However, all of a sudden, Nayanthara is now making a striking comeback with multiple projects in her line-up and the major reason behind this was Nayanthara recently joined The Route celebrity management company. Also, there is a strong speculation that, only with the help of Route, Nayanthara was onboarded for Rajinikanth’s Dharman.
Furthermore, because of her association with The Route, she is now part of major advertisement campaigns and is also expected to be part of massive pan-Indian biggies across Indian cinema.
In response to this speculation, while some people feel that an actor being managed by an agency is completely normal and this should not be blown out of proportion as a controversy, others feel that she is acquiring good opportunities solely because of The Route.
They argue that this is unfair and claim that Nayanthara is taking away deserving opportunities from other actresses by associating with a powerful management company. Hence, they feel she should refrain from doing this and stop taking opportunities away from other actresses.
However, all of these are just social media discussions. It remains to be seen how Nayanthara will shape her career moving forward and whether she will rule South Indian cinema once again with her upcoming line-up.
