Rajinikanth’s most anticipated pan-Indian film, Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is set for a worldwide release on August 14. With only a few days to go, the makers are promoting the film extensively through interviews and nationwide events.
During one such promotional event, Coolie’s co-writer Chandru revealed that Rajinikanth has delivered a powerful three-minute monologue in the film. He stated that the scene will be a major highlight and create a huge impact in theaters. Chandru also compared it to Rajinikanth’s famous monologue from Annamalai, saying the Coolie sequence will be just as memorable.
He further revealed that the film will feature a hyperlink narrative, similar to Maanagaram, with multiple interlinked stories. This detail quickly went viral, sparking discussions among fans. Some viewers expressed concern that too many key moments are being revealed before the film’s release.
Earlier, director Lokesh Kanagaraj disclosed that the intermission will be a big highlight and that the iconic “Mudichukalama” dialogue will appear during the interval. Now, with Chandru revealing the monologue, fans believe the team should stop disclosing more surprises with eight days left and several promotional events still planned.
Despite these concerns, expectations around Coolie are sky-high. With its release scheduled for August 14, fans are eager to see if the film lives up to the hype and emerges as a blockbuster.
