Superstar Rajinikanth is busy shooting for Jailer 2, directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar. The sequel is moving at a rapid pace, but the actor recently took a short break from his hectic schedule.
True to his spiritual nature, Rajinikanth visits the Himalayas every year, no matter how packed his calendar is. During this break, he travelled to Rishikesh and Badrinath for peace and rejuvenation. Photos from an ashram in Rishikesh, showing him in a simple look enjoying meals and conversations, are now viral on social media.
Fans praised his humility, saying that despite his superstar status, Rajinikanth remains deeply spiritual and grounded. Many appreciated how he openly follows his beliefs and stays true to his faith, setting an example of simplicity and discipline in the film industry.
Jailer 2 is slated for release on June 12 next year. The sequel is expected to be bigger and more spectacular than the original, as hinted in the teaser announcement.
Apart from Jailer 2, Rajinikanth is also in talks for a new project with director Nag Ashwin. Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, the film is said to be a large-scale venture. Sources suggest that Rajinikanth was impressed by Nag Ashwin’s unique story idea, and the project will take shape after Jailer 2 is completed.
