Following the official announcement of the cast and crew, Dhanush’s 55th film tentatively titled D55 and directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy was officially kick-started with a Pooja ceremony recently.
In the ceremony, alongside the cast and crew of the film, directors of Dhanush’s upcoming projects such as Tamizharasan Pachamuthu, Vignesh Raja and Mari Selvaraj, participated and greeted the D55 team.
However, apart from these directors, 7 Screen Studio founder Lalit Kumar and director Shankar were also present at the event. Pictures of them at the ceremony have now gone viral, which has led to many theories on social media.
Earlier, there was strong speculation that Dhanush was planning to collaborate with director H Vinoth for a film produced by Lalit Kumar. Therefore, after his presence at the D55 Pooja ceremony, it is evident that the project is likely to happen soon.
On the other hand, since Shankar has started pre-production work for his dream film Velpari, many people on social media started spreading rumors that Dhanush is going to be part of Velpari, which is why Shankar attended the Pooja ceremony.
Even though this is just random social media speculation, many people believe it. While some feel it might be a strong collaboration if it happens, others feel that Shankar is now almost outdated. So, they feel that Dhanush should not waste his time collaborating with an outdated director like Shankar.
However, all these are just social media speculations and there haven’t been any official talks about this potential collaboration yet. Ultimately, it remains to be seen whether Dhanush will collaborate with Shankar and if so, how the project will take shape in the future.
