Simbu Is Ready with Back-To-Back Bangers!

Simbu’s last two releases, such as Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu and Pathu Thala, were average. Now he is all set to conquer Kollywood with his back-to-back bangers.

Silambarasan TR, aka Simbu, is now acting as one of the leads in Mani Ratnam’s Thug Life. This movie has a bunch of talented actors, which includes Kamal Haasan, Ashok Selvan, and many others. The music for this movie was composed by AR Rahman. This movie is in the final stages of shooting, and the team has simultaneously completed the dubbing works for the movie.

Thug Life is planning to release either for Christmas 2024 or Pongal 2025. As per speculations, once Thug Life movie works are completed, Simbu is all set to act as a lead in the Malayalam movie 2018 famed Jude Anthany Joseph’s mega-budget movie. This movie is planned to be made with a budget of 150 crores. After this, his most expected project, STR 48, which was announced a few months ago, was now going to be his 50th film. This film was going to be directed by Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal, famed Desingh Periyasamy. Previously, this movie was announced under the banner of Kamal Haasan’s RKFI, but the production houses may change.

Simbu’s last theatrical blockbuster was Maanadu; after Maanadu, his last two movies didn’t satisfy the expectations of the audience and ended up being average ones. Now his line-up looks promising; let’s see whether these movies bring him the much-needed comeback.
