Suriya 47 title buzz grows strong
Following the blockbuster success of Karuppu, Suriya is now awaiting the release of his next film Vishwanath and Sons directed by Venky Atluri. The shooting for this film was completed even before the release of Karuppu and it is now gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on August 14th.
Simultaneously, he is starring as the lead in a commercial entertainer tentatively titled Suriya 47 directed by Jithu Madhavan. According to reports, almost 70% of the filming for this movie has already been completed and the makers of Suriya 47 are planning to release the film before the end of this year.
In this scenario, now there is strong speculation that the Suriya 47 team has locked the title for the film and it is Scene aka Scene Poduravan. Furthermore, there is also information that the Suriya 47 team is planning to drop the first look poster and reveal the title for the film on Suriya’s birthday on July 23rd.
In response to this speculation, some people feel that the title Scene looks very bad and does not work. They suggest that, since it is a big film with Suriya playing the lead, the title should be classy and mass; however, the title Scene is very bad and they feel that it would end up as troll material.
Meanwhile, some people feel that the title Scene looks quirky and fun, and they believe that with the rumored title, it is evident that Suriya 47 will be a quirky entertainer similar to Aavesham. Therefore, they suggest that it seems like Suriya 47 will be another solid commercial entertainer from Suriya, after Karuppu.
However, there are still no official updates on the title and it remains to be seen whether Suriya 47 will satisfy the expectations of the audience and emerge as a blockbuster success upon its release.
