Following the blockbuster success of Karuppu, Suriya is preparing for the release of his next film, Vishwanath and Sons, directed by Venky Atluri. The shooting was completed before the release of Karuppu, and the film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on August 14.
At the same time, Suriya is filming his 47th project, tentatively titled Suriya 47, directed by Jithu Madhavan. The production is progressing quickly, with reports suggesting that nearly 70 per cent of the shoot has already been completed.
Suriya 47 has generated strong buzz ever since it was announced. Much of the excitement comes from the fact that it is Jithu Madhavan’s next directorial venture after the widely appreciated Aavesham.
