Vettaiyan: Lyca Productions Hides Losses to Satisfy Rajinikanth's Ego?

With the rise of social media and YouTube, the public is now getting a glimpse of the hidden secrets of the film industry, often through shocking revelations.

The latest comes from distributor Tirupur Subramanian, who made some startling claims in an interview with a popular anchor.

Subramanian alleged, “Vettaiyan was a massive loss-making venture, but Lyca Productions refuses to disclose this openly because they want to satisfy Rajinikanth’s ego!

Similarly, Kabali incurred significant losses, but Kalaipuli Thanu covered it up with fake posters. When I confronted them with proof of the losses, Rajinikanth stopped speaking to me!”

He further stated, “Jailer was a huge hit, but Vettaiyan was a disaster. Despite this, Rajinikanth received his full salary for both films, which is one of the reasons many producers are facing huge losses.

Producers treat their actors like royalty and go to great lengths, even creating fake box office posters, to maintain their image as blockbuster stars.”

Subramanian also highlighted a troubling trend in the industry, where financial realities are often kept from the actors themselves.

“In many cases, the losses are not even communicated to the actors. And even when they do find out, they don’t seem to care about the producers’ struggles,” he said.

These revelations have sparked a heated discussion on and off social media among fans and trade pundits.
