Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Vadapalani to Poonamallee stretch of the Phase 2 Chennai Metro Rail Project. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay also attended the event alongside Modi.
After the inauguration, both Narendra Modi and Vijay took a Metro ride from Poonamallee to Vadapalani and returned. The pictures and videos of Narendra Modi and Vijay during the ride have now gone viral on social media.
Even though Vijay officially declared during his political entry itself that the BJP and Narendra Modi are TVK’s ideological enemies, since he is the Chief Minister of the state, as part of protocol he gave a warm welcome to the Prime Minister at the event.
However, following the viral pictures and videos of both Vijay and Narendra Modi, netizens have already started making memes out of them. Especially in a particular video, Vijay was seen sitting silently while Modi was interacting with officials regarding the project.
Consequently, they started commenting that it seems like Chief Minister Vijay had zero interest in attending the event, claiming that he looked very uncomfortable in those pictures. Therefore, they suggested that Vijay’s expressions in those pictures are going to become generational meme content.
Ultimately, the pictures and videos of Vijay and Modi’s meeting at the inaugural event of the Chennai Metro Rail Phase 2 project continue to go viral on social media, with many people sharing their reactions to it.
