This movie was directed by Imsai Arasan 23rd Pulikecei and Irumbukkottai Murattu Singam, famed Chimbu Deven. Chimbu Deven was on peak during 2010, but after that, his movie won’t go well, and he directed a movie known as Puli with Vijay, but it was a flop. Then he directed some movies, but nothing went well.

Recently, the trailer for this Boat movie was released and looks interesting. It looks like an adventure survival drama with fun elements, and the visuals and VFX works shown in the trailer were really good. The story of this movie was happening in the year 1943 and set in the backdrop of the early independence of India. Chimbu Deven has a unique craft of constructing the periodical setups, which he always does in his old classical movies. With the package of the comedians, it’s going to be a laugh riot in theatres.
