For those who don’t already know, the tensions are flaring high between India and Canada. This is a result of Canadian President Justin Trudeau’s allegations about India’s involvement in the killing of Khalistani leader, Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
In the aftermath, India has suspended visa services to Canada amidst increasing concerns regarding the diplomatic relations between the two countries.
India has suspended the visa services to Canada effective immediately and this restriction will be in place till further notice.
This comes after Ottawa claimed that it has credible allegations linking Delhi agents with the killing of pro-Khalistan sikh leader Hardeep who was killed on 18 June, 2023 in Western Canada.
India quickly rejected the allegations of the Canadian authorities, and now, they have suspended the visa services to the country.
Ottawa has also started to reduce its authorities and workforce in India amidst growing tensions between the two countries.
