CCTV: Indian Student Rapes Drunk Lady in Flat

After confessing to rape, 20-year-old Indian student Preet Vikal was punished, according to the BBC. Cardiff city center CCTV footage showed Vikal carrying an inebriated lady on his shoulders and arms. Vikal was sentenced to six years and nine months in a youth prison.

The girl said she had trouble sleeping after the attack last June. She met Vikal while out with friends. She lost her friends while walking home. CCTV showed Vikal bringing her up King Edward VII Avenue and North Road before raping her at a North Road house.

South Wales police said that stranger attacks in Cardiff are rare. They called Preet Vikal a dangerous person who preyed on the drunk girl. The cops arrested Vikal after analyzing the CCTV video.
