Anushka Shetty’s Ghaati, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Sadly, even on OTT, the film has failed to impress. Despite high hopes before release, Ghaati ended as a box-office flop, and the digital response isn’t any better.
Viewers have slammed the film’s slow pace and dull narrative. Many said the story lacks freshness and the screenplay feels flat. The movie drags until the interval, and the action scenes look repetitive and stretched. The overall sentiment is that Ghaati fails to connect emotionally.
The biggest disappointment for fans, however, is Anushka Shetty’s appearance. Trollers are calling her performance lifeless and inconsistent. Many accuse the makers of using CGI and VFX to make her look slimmer, especially on her face. This overuse of effects has made her look uneven and artificial across scenes.
Some fans expressed sadness, saying if she feels insecure enough to need digital alterations, it defeats the joy of her comeback. They feel it’s better to take a break than appear in films that don’t do justice to her talent or legacy.
Yet, a section of her loyal fans still stands by her. They praised Anushka’s strong screen presence and said she doesn’t need visual tweaks to shine. For them, her real charm lies in her confidence and natural aura — not digital perfection.
