Does Netflix’s 3 Body Problem Overturns It’s Earlier Mediocrity?

Netflix’s adaptation of “3 Body Problem” served a heavy meal on the viewers plate. The series is jam packed with real physics formulas and theories which are proved by the critics. This high sci fi adaptation is a real bold move for the “Game of Thrones” creators. The concept of dimension expanding and relativity is blowing the audience’s minds.

Initially, the series started with mixed up audience reviews, critics claimed that the series is very hard to keep up with and the scientific futuristic aspects that they are showing seem too unreal to be true. The Liu Cixin trilogy is stuffed with high physics connotations. Which is masterfully brought out in the new episodes.

The only thing which is holding back the series from being a massive hit, is its characters. The series is heavy on the character’s side, as the story revolves around aliens and all the unearthly devices the characters are still using their intellects more than the hightech devices.

The Chinese authors tend to do this a lot. The topic of the subject matter could be anything. But, they will always glorify their legacy and their past. And “3 Body” is no expectation. Revolving around the concept of alien invention on planet earth, one team is protecting earth from those creatures and the other one is helping them. The series starts off with the death of a scientist during Mao’s Cultural Revolution, and quickly jumping back to present, where we can witness present day scientist are weirdly attempting suicide.

The duo of David Benioff and D.B, now has a complete series to work on, where in case of “Songs of Ice and Fire” the series was incomplete.

The series “3 Body Problem” is slowly expanding its reach as they introduced the audience with the headset concept where anyone who uses that gets transferred into another dynasty in another dimension, which are the challenges one has to face in order to save humanity .
