La Liga, one of the biggest football leagues in the world featuring stars like Kylian Mbappe and Lamine Yamal, is currently streaming in India on FanCode. However, the response from football fans has not been encouraging.
Many viewers are upset with the poor streaming quality. They complain that the platform often lags and disrupts the viewing experience. The criticism has grown louder because FanCode is charging ₹499 for the season pass, which is almost the same price as streaming giants like JioHotstar and SonyLiv.
Fans argue that despite charging a premium, FanCode has failed to match the quality of its competitors. In comparison, both JioHotstar and SonyLiv have previously offered smoother streams with better video quality for major football events.
Supporters are now demanding that FanCode improve its services to justify the subscription price. Unless the streaming quality improves, the platform may struggle to gain the trust of football fans in India.
