Rajeev Khandelwal’s latest OTT venture The Secret of the Shiledars takes viewers on an adventure quest led by a secret society who try to find hidden treasure belonging to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
While the series has been receiving decent reviews from viewers and critics, some parts of the audience have pointed out some failures in the show.

A user recently called out Disney+Hotstar for blatantly copying the Hollywood film National Treasure and hurting Hindu sentiments in some scenes.
“On top of that you show characters wearing shoes near the sacred Shiv Ling!” said the user.

While the series might be inspired by National Treasure and Indiana Jones, The Secret of the Shiledars has beautifully showcased the legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Despite having some weak points, the series perfectly gives utmost respect to Shivaji Maharaj and is a great series to binge-watch.

With the user’s impractical logic of shoes near a Shiv Ling, viewers should realize how the makers have made the show surrounding Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s triumphs and honors.
