We have a handful of interesting titles arriving in the OTT space for the South Indian folk and let us have a look at the same. Read on to determine which of these interest you and can find a spot in your weekend watchlist.
Kuberaa
This intense social drama with Dhanush and Nagarjuna in the lead roles had a decent run at the box office. It is now set to stream on Amazon Prime from July 18, which is exactly 28 days from its theatrical release.
Bhairavam
This film had an interesting casting choice of Manchu Manoj, Bellamkonda Srinivas, and others in the lead roles. But it couldn’t generate any sort of noise at the box office during the time of the release. Can it fare any better on OTT now? We shall wait and see.
Special Ops 2
The second season of this action drama series is set to stream on Jio Hotstar from July 18 and thus rides on the back of the successful first part which could cater to the action loving OTT folk.
The series follows Himmat Singh of Research and Analysis Wing who draws similar patterns in terrorist attacks and is convinced a single person is behind all the attacks. His task force team of five agents living in various parts of the world aim to catch the mastermind. The story is based on an inspiration taken from nineteen years worth of national significant events, the plot reads.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds 3
Here’s something exciting for all the Star Trek fans out there. Follow Captain Christopher Pike, Science Officer Spock and Number One in the years before Captain Kirk boarded the U.S.S. Enterprise, as they explore new worlds around the galaxy. It will stream on Jio Hotstar from July 18.
