Marco OTT Controversy

The makers of Marco had initially announced that the fight scenes omitted from the theatrical version would be included in the OTT release. These sequences also featured actor Riyaz Khan.

However, fans were left disappointed when the team later revealed that the extended cut would not be available on OTT due to multiple complaints, and only the theatrical version would stream on SonyLIV.

In response to the backlash, the Marco team recently took to Instagram to announce that they have now released the deleted fight scenes featuring Riyaz Khan via Cubes Entertainment’s YouTube channel.

The team clarified that the decision aligned with their earlier promise, emphasizing that the scene did not contain excessive violence.

They stated that they remain committed to their word but cannot be responsible for any other circulating information beyond their control. The team also reaffirmed their adherence to rules and regulations while thanking fans for their support.




With this move, the makers have attempted to appease fans while ensuring the film stays within regulatory guidelines.
