Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s film Costao, directed by Sejal Shah, is all set to arrive on Zee5 on May 1, 2025. The early reviews are out now, and it seems like a majority of the people are impressed with the film.

Nawazuddin’s performance has been praised by most of them, saying that he has played his role perfectly without any flaws. However, a few are not so satisfied with the film’s storyline, as one of them called it mediocre despite its potential to be brought with a lot of power on screen.

On the other hand, the narrative is still being appreciated, and although there are some dull moments, they can be easily ignored. Moreover, the film’s runtime is being mentioned as the most positive side, considering that it runs for less than two hours.

People have seemingly added a warning for those who are looking for masala entertainment, saying that it does not feature music and other elements, and that the film’s attempt to appear extremely authentic might not be liked by the audience.

Sejal Shah is getting additional appreciation for his work as a first-time director Notably, Sejal has been a cinematographer in the past, and considering that Costao marks his directorial debut, he has done a fine job, as per the reactions.




It looks like, although the film has some negative points, it will manage to bring some good viewership numbers for Zee5 once it arrives on May 1, 2025. Let’s wait and see if things go as per expectations.
