Pushpa 2: The Rule was released through Netflix on January 30, 2025. While the film created different records during its theatrical run, it has now added new records with the viewership numbers on OTT.

The Reloaded Version received almost 9.4 million views and has surpassed the numbers made by Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 during its third week on the same platform. Pushpa 2 has additionally broken the numbers of other big South Indian films that were released in 2024.
During the second week of Pushpa 2 on Netflix, the film received 3.6 million views and recorded 13.6 million viewing hours. It has now reached the third position in the list of the top ten non-English films trending around the world for this week.

However, it still has a long way to go since Vijay Sethupathi’s Maharaja and Dulquer Salmaan’s Lucky Baskhar are in the first two spots of the global top ten trending list of non-English films for 2024, with the former receiving 19.7 million views in seven weeks and the latter with 18.4 million views in five weeks.
The above-mentioned numbers are undoubtedly surprising since Vijay Sethupathi and Dulquer Salmaan are not top stars and are still known as Tier-2 stars.

Meanwhile, it might take a little bit more time for Pushpa 2 to grab the first spot since a lot of people have already seen it in theatres and they want to watch it later on OTT, even if it is available now.
Furthermore, the film is still running in theatres in some parts of the country and people are possibly interested in enjoying it on the big screen.
